What motivated you to get into coaching?: | I spent a lot of time organizing games and activities with my neighbourhood friends. I always enjoyed thinking of ways to improve performance in myself and others. |
What do you love about being a Coach Developer?: | My favourite part of being a CD is getting to know other people's coaching context and knowing that we can have a positive impact in their coaching development thus impacting their athletes. When the coaches have those "aha" moments. |
Why did you want to be a Coach Developer?: | To promote an athlete-centered approach to the coaches in order to grow the number of athletes that play. If the athlete's experience is a positive one, they may decide to coach when their playing days are over. |
