New Brunswick 49 – Alberta 34

New Brunswick collected their third win of the tournament defeating Alberta 49-34 in Thursday action.

Reese Baxendale scored a team-high 8 points while adding 5 rebounds for New Brunswick. Bridget Frazee added 7 points in the win.

Despite the loss, Janna Kwan of Alberta scored a game-high 12 points.

Manitoba 51 – Newfoundland 48

 An amazing performance by both teams as Manitoba went on to win a nail biter over Newfoundland, 51-48. 

 Manitoba was led by Keylyn Filewich’s double-double where she scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Adrianna Proulx added 10 points and 5 steals for Manitoba.

Breena Power came out hard for Newfoundland scoring a game-high 16 points while adding 8 rebounds.

British Columbia 53 – Saskatchewan 63

Saskatchewan improved their record to 3-1 with a big win over British Columbia, 63-53.

Micaela Crone had an outstanding game with a double-double scoring 18 points and adding 10 boards. Lauryn Prokop added another 17 points for Saskatchewan.

Tia Tsang of British Columbia scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the contest.  

Ontario 72 – Prince Edward Island 13

Ontario continued to keep their record perfect with a 72-13 win over Prince Edward Island.

Kendra VanLeeuwen led the way for Ontario scoring 17 points and collecting 9 rebounds. Hailey Brown added 11 points for Ontario.

Taylor McAulay scored 5 points and added 4 rebounds for Prince Edward Island.



Newfoundland 65 – Prince Edward Island 43

Newfoundland was able to even their record to 2-2 after a 65-43 win over Prince Edward Island.

Christopher Dobbin had a phenomenal game contributing a double-double with a game-high 17 points and 13 rebounds. Brandon Bambrick added 11 points in the contest.

Prince Edward Island was led by Chris Paynter who added 12 points and 5 rebounds.

Manitoba 71 – Nova Scotia 61

Manitoba recorded their first win of the tournament with a 71-61 victory over Nova Scotia.

Manitoba’s Eric Braganza had an amazing performance scoring a game-high 25 points while adding 7 rebounds in the contest. Daniel Sackey added 13 points for Manitoba.

Despite the loss, Chris Towle scored 18 points and grabbed 9 boards for Nova Scotia.

British Columbia 74 – Alberta 81

Alberta improved their record to 4-0 with an 81-74 win over British Columbia.

Aher Uguak led the way for Alberta with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Ogot Ogot added a double-double to the contest scoring 12 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

British Columbia was led by Howard Wang who was just shy of a double-double scoring a team-high of 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Ontario 105 – New Brunswick 48

After a tough loss to Quebec, Ontario bounced back and beat New Brunswick 105-48.

Ontario’s Jeff Baradziej led the way with a stellar performance scoring a game-high 22 points while adding 3 rebounds. Jordan Fullerton added 12 points for Team Ontario.

Leo Titarenko and Alex Loughery added 8 points each for New Brunswick.

Quebec 81 – Saskatchewan 69

Quebec continued their impressive tournament record by defeating Saskatchewan, 81-69.

Anthony Longpre led the way for Quebec scoring 22 points while grabbing 7 rebounds. William Boyer-Richard added 18 points for Quebec in the contest.

Despite the loss, Brandon Bonneau added a double-double for Team Saskatchewan with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
